Multinuclear MR provides important information concerning cell integrity or energy metabolism. PET uses radioactive tracers to gain valuable insights into physiological and metabolic processes with both a high level of sensitivity and specificity. Here, we explored the combination of sequential multinuclear MR and PET in a rat brain tumour model.
