In this work we hypothesized that a fast and easy
implementable volumetric cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) MRI
sequence can be used as a surrogate for brain atrophy
assessment. The obtained results were compared to
clinically used atrophy rating scales and it was
demonstrated that the CSF MRI sequence can be an
alternative for brain atrophy assessment.
