In cardiac magnetic resonance spectroscopy signals are
acquired using a combination of ECG triggering and navigator gating to
compensate for cardiac and respiratory motion. While the effects and
compensation of motion induced by respiration has been studied in detail only
little work has been done to study and compensate the impact of cardiac bulk
motion on signal-to-noise ratio performance so far.
