A
modified 2D multiple-quantum coherence sequence is proposed to achieve
high-resolution selective GABA detection under inhomogeneous fields. The
edited spectra of GABA with and without J splittings can be obtained from the
sequence. Sparse sampling in the indirect dimension is utilized to reduce the
entire acquisition time. A phantom experiment was performed to demonstrate
the feasibility of the proposed method and its potential applications for in vivo
studies.
