The
liver ADC was measured in 3 different positions in the liver in 33 subjects.
The mean ADC was signficantly different between the 3 different positions.
This is attributed to the presence of noise in the middle of the liver and
artefactual signal loss at high b-values at superior positions in the left
lobe. Care must be taken when measuring ADC in the liver.
