Problem:
The aim of the current study was to investigate the reproducibility of PASL
imaging based on the PULSAR technique combined with thin slice periodic
saturation (Q2TIPS) to control for bolus length and facilitate CBF
quantification. Methods: Resting CBF maps were obtained from 16 subjects
(3010a) on two different days on a 3T whole body scanner. Results: Mean CBF,
within-subject standard deviation and repeatability were 34.15.3, 3.5 and
9.7 in GM and 7.42.7, 2.7and 7.5 in WM (all values in ml/100g/min).
Conclusion: PULSAR based perfusion measurement shows good reproducibility
lying in the range detected for other ASL methods.
