The
blood plasma curve shape is an important component of many modelling
approaches for DCE imaging, and models of these curves are used to produce
functional parameter estimates. For
predictions or comparisons to be made using plasma curve data obtained with
different injection lengths or profiles it is necessary to include the effect
of the injection profile on the plasma curve.
In this abstract we present a general methodology to estimate a
vascular impulse response function which is independent of the injection
profile, and can therefore be used to perform such predictions and
comparisons.
