The
biochemical variations of serum from control and Wilsons disease (WD) rats
were investigated using NMR-based metabolomics. Two groups can be
discriminated according to the score plot of principle component analysis.
The WD group shows increased levels of lactate, glycoprotein, glutamine,
creatine, creatininearginine and decreased levels of glucose,
trimethylamine-N-oxide, betaine, lipid and choline. The results may further
our understanding of the disease.
