There is a critical need for MRI guided drug delivery
for treating glioma. We developed a liposome
specifically targeting glioma using interlukin-12
receptors as the target for the tumor cells
(IL-13-Liposome). Our in vivo and in vitro data
demonstrated that our targeted liposome is capable of
delivering anticancer drug and MRI contrast agent to the
tumor cells at the same time.
