Left Ventricular Reverse Remodeling in Dilated Cardiomyopathy: Does Ejection Fraction Reflect Subtle Ventricular Dysfunction?

An important number of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy have improved their left ventricular function with an optimal treatment. However, it is not well understood whether remodeling represents a recovery in left ventricular (LV) hemodinamics¹. In this abstract, we discuss the capacity of the ejection fraction to represent disease remission, by analyzing LV blood flow.
