Elastography using Multiband DIADEM (DIADEM-MRE)

The purpose of this study is to implement a
distortion-free technique, termed DIADEM (Distortion-free Imaging: A Double
Encoding Method) into brain MR Elastography (MRE). The distortion-free whole-brain
MRE images with 2-mm isotropic resolution can be achieved using the proposed
technique within 6 minutes. The feasibility of DIADEM-MRE was successfully demonstrated
on healthy volunteers and patients with brain tumors.
