A variable flip angle approach was designed for bSSFP
transient state imaging to improve signal profile
uniformity and off-resonance insensitivity by solving a
non-convex optimization problem. HP C-13 MRI
investigations with this variable flip angle scheme
resulted in less blurring and higher SNR.
