This study demonstrates a novel rsfMRI application to
investigate the spinal cord. We found extensive
functional networks in the spinal C1-C4, and they
included some unilateral, bilateral and top-down
functional connectivity. Future studies will improve
spatial resolution and to map connectivity of the entire
spinal cord to the brain.
