An Alternate Strategy for the Quantification of the in Vivo Glutamate/Glutamine (Glx) Peak at 2.35 Ppm

Quantification of in vivo Glutamate/Glutamine (Glx) peak at 2.35 ppm from ¹H MRS is contaminated with NAA, lipids, macromolecule and with Glx peak at 2.13 ppm. This contamination introduces a challenge in Glx quantification. Here, we propose and demonstrate an alternate strategy to quantify the Glx at 2.35 ppm with high reproducibility, in vivo.
