Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is one of the five categories of pulmonary hypertension (PH). In previous study, hemodynamic parameters of patients with PH, measured by non-invasive phase-contrast magnetic resonance imaging (PC-MRI) and invasive catheterization methods, have been proved with high correlation coefficients. In this study, we aim to acquire windkessel volume (V_wk), acceleration time (T_acce), acceleration volume (V_acce), and other hemodynamic parameters to investigate differences between normal subjects and patients with PAH. Students t-test was used to comprehend the significance of the difference between normal subjects and PAH patients.
