Automatic Segmentation of Gray Matter Multiple Sclerosis Lesions on FLAIR & DIR Images

Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. Its diagnosis and monitoring is based on magnetic resonance imaging. Here we present an algorithm to automatically detect gray matter (GM) lesions on FLAIR and DIR sequences.
