8-Channel Parallel Transmit & Receive System for 3 Tesla

To increase homogeneity of the transmit field at 3 Tesla an 8-channel transceiver system implementation is presented. Shorter distance to the imaging object reduces the amount of power needed for a desired B₁ field in the object.
