Purpose
of this study is to investigate the use of high b-value q-space imaging (QSI)
to evaluate spine and spinal cord lesions in vivo, with the use of mean
displacement (MD) maps, as feasibility study. In results, various MD values
were measured in the lesions. Moreover, MD maps were not apparently well
correlated with corresponding apparent diffusion coefficient maps of DWI with
b-values of 1000 s/mm2. This technique has potential to provide new
information in addition to conventional sequences in routine clinical study.
