In
this study, we have demonstrated that using CASL and ASE methods, CBF and OEF
can be consistently measured in human under repeated air and carbogen inhalation. In agreement with previous PET study, an
increase of CBF along with a reciprocal decrease of OEF, and an unchanged OMI
were detected with carbogen inhalation.
