Diffusion
kurtosis imaging provides additional information as compared to diffusion
tensor imaging. Due to the long scan times, required to solve the kurtosis
tensor, diffusion kurtosis measurements are not always clinical feasible. In
this study, we show that a bias free kurtosis value can be estimated through
an optimized encoding scheme within a clinically feasible time of two
minutes.
