rTSE
hybridizes the increased signal provided by the 180 refocusing RF pulses of
RARE and the better flow performance of the fully-refocused gradients and
phase alternation of balanced SSFP.
Here, we apply the principles of rTSE with spiral readout gradients in
order to improve the data acquisition efficiency of the sequence while
increasing the echo spacing to provide improved artery-vein contrast.
