This
study aims to employ random phase encoding in MR Chemical Shift Imaging (CSI)
to reduce measurement time without significantly sacrificing image quality.
CSI is a good candidate because the 2D-CSI sequence has the freedom to
independently set the two directions of phase encoding. Simulations show
efficient suppression of intervoxel contamination at undersampling factors up
to 65% while maintaining image quality at undersampling factors up to 50%.
This results show that CSI can significantly reduce measurement time.
