We
present the Moore-Rayleigh (MR) test as nonparametric statistical test for
longitudinal brain MRI deformation based morphometry: A group of male mice
(n=10) was followed during exposure to the stress hormone hormone
corticosterone for 2 weeks and a recovery period of 1 week. The results of
the MR test are comparable to volumetric based morphometry, but it enriches
the analysis with its ability to detect also localized shape changes, which
are still significant under Bonferroni correction.
