We
report about the synthesis and the characterization of a Gd-DOTAgal
derivative that has been proven to be a good -galactosidase expression
reporter. It consists in a system that can undergo polymerization in the
presence of Tyrosinase upon beta-gal
activated cleavage of the tyr-gal bond.
