Enhanced Delivery is a powerful method of delivering drugs to the CNS. We
tested CED hardware and imaging methods by delivering Magnevist at three flow
rates to the putamen in rhesus monkeys over a period of 7 days. T1-weighted
images were acquired at three time points and from these the volume of
distribution was characterized. Results demonstrate a compact distribution to
the putamen with a flow rate-dependent volume.
