An
RF receive coil was developed for use with a limb-positioning platform. The
coil uses two elements placed at a fixed distance on either side of the limb
and normalises signal levels through rotations of the limb. The coil uses
inductive coupling and a single receiver channel. Initial results with a
phantom and a volunteer show the coil has good uniformity compared with a
standard flex coil.
