The
potential of non-contrast enhanced renal angiography at 7T was explored. In
order to obtain consistent bilateral visualization of the renal arteries
transmit B1 homogeneity was optimized using a subject dependent, three slice,
small flip angle calibration scan acquired in a single breathold. High
quality visulizaiton of proximal and distal renal arteries was obtained
despite system limits on achievable transmit B1.
