A variable field system capable of performing DNP spectroscopy and variable field PEDRI with NMR detection at any magnetic field in the range 0 - 0.38 T is described. The system is built around a clinical MRI electromagnet. To obtain EPR spectral characteristics, partial cancellation of the detection NMR field is required to alter the evolution EPR field at which the electron paramagnetic resonance excitation is achieved. The addition of resistive field cancellation coils in the gap of the primary magnet provides this fast offset in the range of 00.1 T.
