A 3D golden-angle, projection reconstruction technique for dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI is presented. The utilization of the golden angle for incrementing the views permits increased flexibility during reconstruction, compared to previous PR-based dynamic methods. The tradeoffs in the temporal and spatial resolution could be determined retrospectively, providing a high spatial resolution series for lesion architecture, or a high temporal resolution series for dynamic enhancement assessment. Further, with temporally selective data filtering, both high spatial and temporal resolution could be achieved in a single image series. The feasibility of the technique is demonstrated in a 3D dynamic contrast-enhanced exam of the breast.
