All of the autocalibrating methods in k-space like GRAPPA, GARSE calculate the reconstruction coefficients in the fully sampled central k-space and apply them to recover the missing k-space lines in the outside region of k-space. Noise amplification is caused when the coefficients from the high SNR region are applied to the very low SNR region. In this study, an SNR adaptive filter has been extracted from the SNR in k-space and applied to the reconstructed k-space lines to reduce the noise amplification for imaging with high reduction factors.
