MRI of C6 glioma cells taged with an opioid functionalized DTPA-Gd contrast agent

A paramagnetic contrast agent Bis-normorphine-Gd-DTPA complex is presented, which interacts with opioid receptors of C6 rat glioma cells. Furthermore the synthesis, kinetical stability in media DMEM, T1 and T2 relaxation times respectively are described.
