Retrospective correction of physiological fluctuations, has been a useful tool for minimizing the variance in EPI time series, for BOLD-fMRI studies. However in accelerated parallel imaging the intrinsic noise increases with acceleration factor, while the physiological noise does not. This study explores the effectiveness of retrospective correction of physiological noise as a function of acceleration factor.
